“Senses of Perception and Mind”
We are very pleased to host Stephanie Quirk again in Italy. In this seminar Stephanie will explore the effects of āsana and prānāyāma on the senses of perception and the mind. This course will give the students and teachers the opportunity to look into the senses especially the eyes the ears and how to help when there are difficulties and how to proceed as in some conditions there can be contraindications, or there ways that relieve the condition. We will be looking into these conditions from the point of view that the students or even friends and relatives. It is a seminar where practice and observation will take place
The seminar is open ONLY to certified teachers (no student or teacher currently participating in the Mentorship program will be accepted).
SEMINAR COST
€ 540.00 (of which € 280 for course, € 300 for board which includes three meals per day non-refundable if not consumed). This cost does not include overnight stay.

Please bring your sticky mat, all other equipment will be provided by the organization.
TRANSPORTATION
CAR: For those taking the Autostrada del Sole, exit at Valdichiana (for more information: www.montauto.it).
TRAIN: For those coming by train, the nearest stations are Sinalunga on the Siena-Chiusi railway line. Remember in time to let the Secretariat know the time of your arrival at the Station because there is no cab service and we have to arrange to pick you up.
SHUTTLE SERVICE
There will be a shuttle bus available for the transfer from Florence to Montauto, leaving from Via San Gervasio 18, on September 16th at 2:00 pm and for the return from Montauto to Florence on the afternoon of September 20th at 4:00 pm. Cost of €40.00 per trip. To be booked and paid in advance, non-refundable.
RESERVATION
The number of participants is limited. The course is open only to Iyengar Yoga Institute Florence members. Requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will be confirmed only after payment of the deposit of €300. Cancellations before August 17, 2026 will be refunded the amount paid as deposit with a deduction of €100. After August 17, no refund.
LODGING:
The cost of lodging is separate. Different types of accommodations are available:
1)there are some double rooms in the house, which will be reserved for couples. The rest of the rooms have 2 beds each. For accommodation in the house, the cost is 180 €. Places are limited and priority will be given to those who stay every day.
2) camping with facilities. It is necessary to bring camping supplies. The cost of camping is 100 €.
